DEREK ROWDEN
Derek and his family have been at The Mount since 2013, and he joined the Elder Board in December of 2018. He works for One for Israel as an Advisor to The President. Derek holds a Bachelor in Statistics degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and is forever pursuing a Ph.D. in his wife.
Derek is married to Natasha, and together they have three boys: Cole, Max, and Seth.

If Derek could possess one superpower, he would want the power to duplicate everyone else’s superpower. You could call him “The Duplicator.”
When asked if the plane you were flying in was about to crash, whom would you want sitting next to you? Derek responded, “No need. I’m the Duplicator, remember? I’d become like Iron Man and rescue everyone.”
Derek’s hidden talent that most people don’t know about (until now) is that he's really funny. Now that you know that, you can all start laughing at his jokes, alright?
The one thing Derek does every day is to hug and kiss his wife and tell her he loves her.
